I’m sorry to say that TMZ.com is reporting 28 year old Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in one of his residences in Soho, NY. I hope it’s not true. See below:
“He was found dead in his bed in one of his residences in Soho by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET today. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they believe it was not a crime, adding pills were found near his body.”
“According to NYPD a masseuse arrived at Ledger’s apartment and was let in by a housekeeper. When he didn’t answer his bedroom door, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened it and found him unconscious. They attempted to wake him, and when they couldn’t they called 911.”
“We’re told when paramedics responded, the actor was in full cardiac arrest. They attempted to perform CPR on him, but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.”
UPDATE: According to the New York Times Heath wasn’t found in his own place, apparently he was found at an apartment “inhabited by” Mary-Kate Olsen. Olsen was in California apparently and authorities are not sure how long or why he was staying in her apartment.
UPDATE 2: Apparently, it wasn’t Mary Kate Olsen’s apartment or even the building she lives in. I’m sure it’ll filp-flop 8 more times. Right now everyone is claiming sleeping pills are to blame. Heath supposedly had issues with sleeping and depression after the emotionally and physically draining roll of The Joker in the new Batman installment.
